#allieschroederfilmsanddesign is offering another round (round 8️⃣!!!) of hands-on classes at my home in South Ogden on SATURDAY mornings in ➡️January 2020 ⬅️ (just in time to learn how to use the camera you hope Santa brings ya! 🎅🏼): PHOTOGRAPHY 📷 (3-day course, $250): In #ASFDphoto you will learn how to shoot in complete manual mode. *DATES: Jan 4, 11, and 18 (9-10:30am) VIDEOGRAPHY 🎥 (3-day course, $250): In #ASFDfilm you will learn how to shoot a video > edit > export & upload. **DATES: Jan 4, 11, and 18 (10:30-12pm) Each #ASFDclass is designed for those who own a camera (DSLR preferably, but not mandatory) and a computer or phone with editing program for videography. In addition, each class is completely hands-on and includes a live photo or video shoot, plus time to ask me any and every question you want! I have tried to customize it to incorporate both the elements of basic photography and videography as well as advanced elements so that each class will fit both the amateur mommas (or daddys 😉) and those starting out who want to further their photo/film skills. You’re welcome to take both photo + film for a combined session at a discounted rate ($450). And, if you’ve ever taken a photo or film class from me in my previous rounds and would like to take one of my other courses, you’re welcome to at a discounted rate as well! Some of my fondest memories growing up were traveling in a little single-engine airplane with my family! The 6-seater airplane fit our family perfectly with my dad as pilot & my brother and I squished in the back seats. We always knew to “pack light” and that mid-day travels would sure be an adventure if we weren’t on-time for an earlier takeoff! 🤢 And, I’ll never forget each time he flew over a ballgame of ours or over the house when we weren’t flying with him, he tipped his wings. 💕 I still use the avionics alphabet from memorizing it on a flight to Lake Powell one summer (we always wore headsets to hear the correspondences with the tower) and avionics will always have a special place in my heart, just like my Dad. 💕 Happy birthday, Dad! Hope you got some time to go flying on a perfect day like today! ✈️

Pedro 🇧🇷 & Benson 🇺🇸 ☺️

We just finished an amazing trip to Brazil! 🇧🇷 I’ve posted a little (or a lot! ☺️) on my stories, but the story behind all the pics needs a caption, as it’s pretty amazing itself—God truly directs people & experiences into all our lives. 💕 1981- Cam’s dad, Jay, hand-picked a boy from a lineup of pictures of students participating in the exchange student program at Layton High School. That student was a boy from Brazil named Edson. They grew a bond that also extended through another generation when in 2003 his son, Gui, came to live with Cam for the exchange student program at Bonneville High School. 2009- Cams reaction to his call to serve was priceless (especially since ironically this family happened to be in town for it!)—Campinas, Brazil, the exact city where this amazing family lives. Everyone says “God works in mysterious ways”, but like how crazy is that!? Here’s to hoping we can have Pedro (3rd generation ➡️ swipe to see the cutest little toddler duo) in our home about 15+ years down the road! :) We love to Sgavioli/Raboni/Sousa family and all the Brazilian people to pieces.
