Pedro 🇧🇷 & Benson 🇺🇸 ☺️

We just finished an amazing trip to Brazil! 🇧🇷 I’ve posted a little (or a lot! ☺️) on my stories, but the story behind all the pics needs a caption, as it’s pretty amazing itself—God truly directs people & experiences into all our lives. 💕 1981- Cam’s dad, Jay, hand-picked a boy from a lineup of pictures of students participating in the exchange student program at Layton High School. That student was a boy from Brazil named Edson. They grew a bond that also extended through another generation when in 2003 his son, Gui, came to live with Cam for the exchange student program at Bonneville High School. 2009- Cams reaction to his call to serve was priceless (especially since ironically this family happened to be in town for it!)—Campinas, Brazil, the exact city where this amazing family lives. Everyone says “God works in mysterious ways”, but like how crazy is that!? Here’s to hoping we can have Pedro (3rd generation ➡️ swipe to see the cutest little toddler duo) in our home about 15+ years down the road! :) We love to Sgavioli/Raboni/Sousa family and all the Brazilian people to pieces. #allieschroederfilmsanddesign is offering another round (round 7️⃣!!!) of hands-on classes at my home in South Ogden on WEDNESDAYS in ➡️October ⬅️ (just in time to capture all your holiday fun!): PHOTOGRAPHY 📷 (3-day course, $200): In #ASFDphoto you will learn how to shoot in complete manual mode. **DATES: October 9 (5:30-7pm), 16 (7-8:30pm), and 23 (5:30-7pm) VIDEOGRAPHY 🎥 (3-day course, $200): In #ASFDfilm you will learn how to shoot a video > edit > export & upload. **DATES: October 9 (7-8:30pm), 16 (5:30-7pm), and 23 (7-8:30pm) Each #ASFDclass is designed for those who own a camera (DSLR preferably, but not mandatory) and a computer or phone with editing program for videography. In addition, each class is completely hands-on and includes a live photo or video shoot, plus time to ask me any and every question you want! I have tried to customize it to incorporate both the elements of basic photography and videography as well as advanced elements so that each class will fit both the amateur mommas (or daddys 😉) and the skilled creative. Class size is limited so text Allie 801-888-4523 to sign up and pay a $20 non-refundable fee (goes towards total amount due first day of class) to reserve your spot (Venmo: @allisonschroeder1) You’re welcome to take both photo + film for a combined session at a discounted rate ($350). And, if you’ve ever taken a photo or film class from me in my previous rounds and would like to take one of my other courses, you’re welcome to at a discounted rate as well! And just like that our #lydiafirecrackerschroeder is 5!!! Surprising her with a trip to Disneyland with just mom & dad will be a cherished memory of mine forever. She is a firecracker, but man is she such a sweet girl too! 💕

And this girl turns 5 next month and graduated (we think! 😉) preschool last week! 😭 Now the question is do we send her off to all-day kindergarten (most days I’m like “YES” 😅🤪) or keep her one more year!? All day kindergarten makes me a little nervous for her, but also the teacher. 😆 I’m sure her strong-willed personality will serve her well in life, but can also be a little scary for this mama! 😅 #lydiafirecrackerschroeder

Somehow this sweet little boy turns 2 in a couple weeks—like how!? 😅 Cam said, “these look like his mission pics”...please give me at least 16 more years and a lot more kisses Benson boy! #ourboybenson
